Designed for Carl Hansen & Sn in 1957, Hans J. Wegners CH33T chair remained in production for ten consecutive years. Carl Hansen & Sn reintroduced the design in 2012, adding colors from Wegners own working palette to the original variant.
The chairs light, graceful form highlights many elements typical of Wegners best designs. The CH33T expresses organic simplicity, with many gently rounded forms. The tapered legs and crosspieces are thickest where they need to support load-bearing joints and become more slender when the design allows.
The CH33T has clear references to the clean lines of the 1950s and 1960s and a beautiful wood construction in solid wood. With its warm, human feel, the CH33T is an ideal fit for contemporary interiors. The CH33P version allows for even more comfort with seat upholstery in fabric or leather.
